Women’s Response to New WHO Statement on DMPA

Signed by Lillian Mworeko, Executive Director, ICW EA and Mitchell Warren, Executive Director, AVAC on behalf of a number organizations and individuals, this statement rejects WHO’s October 21, 2015 “Statement on Depot-medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA)” and asks that the statement be removed from the WHO website until it is put through a rigorous consultative process.
