As the Echo trial continues its investigation on certain hormonal contraceptives and the possibility they increase the risk of acquiring HIV, the conversation on the issue is heating up. While there are modeling studies that look at lives saved versus lost because of these contraception methods, advocates are calling far and wide for better choices.
